About us

Welcome to the Danstrom family website. We just weclomed our 4th child into the world on June 9th. We found out at her standard 20 week ultrasound that she has Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome and from that moment, we knew our lives would be changed forever. We are a family of strong faith and are ready to face whatever God has in store for us. We are Teri, Big Ethan, Little Ethan, Thomas, Marissa and baby Gabrielle.

Gabrielle is at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin in Milwaukee and being cared for by some amazing doctors including: Dr. Tweddle, the infant cardiac surgeon, Dr. Ghanayem, the cardiac critical care doc and many others that would be too long to list. They have the amazing nursing staff and support team. Gabi couldn’t be in better hands. She had her Norwood procedure done on June 15th and unfortunately came out of surgery on ECMO (life support). She stayed on that for 3 days and then her heart and lungs stated to kick in and she is hanging strong. She continues to fight through this. She has taught us so much already and we can’t wait for her to come home.
